Integrative Health & Nutrition Life Coach
For nearly a decade, I’ve had the honor of guiding busy professionals and entrepreneurs around the world to a superior state of wellbeing, cognitive performance, and inner bliss. My approach seamlessly blends science-based practices with self-care rituals to improve the function of every aspect of the body, as well as that uplift the mind and spirit. The results? The whole self—the whole you—operating at a heightened level of wellbeing every day, equipped with the tools to maintain it for life.
Upgrading the way your life appears on the outside requires an upgrade on the inside. It’s what I like to think of as a total, whole person elevation—body, mind, and spirit. I combine nutrition, coaching psychology, laboratory testing and a blend of eastern, western, and ancient wisdom into my coaching programs. Work with me focuses on:
- Improving your diet, and understanding how the way you treat your body influences the way you treat yourself.
- Understanding how gaining clarity around what you truly want and naming it allows you to reconnect with your inner truth.
- Realizing how nourishing yourself physically and mentally transforms the way you show up in the world.
By pulling from my background in psychology, holistic nutrition, and personal experience as a corporate executive, I help my clients step into a sustainable lifestyle that is deeply nourishing and heart-centered; one where they feel empowered and connected to their intuition, build self-care practices into each day, and manage their busy lives with resilience.
Whole Woman Health Founder, Integrative Health & Nutrition Life Coach
I’ve been described as the “chaos coordinator,” the”sound of reason,” a “food-freedom coach” and “the body whisperer”…and also unbelievably direct and loving in my approach.
Helping women who are trapped in a cycle of busy-ness, chaos, and overwhelm, yet want to lose weight and feel alive again is my passion.
I used to live a stressful life of constantly going & doing, yet never adding myself to my daily to-do list, so I know first-hand the effects that has on the mind and body. I was constantly sick, not feeding myself (or overfeeding myself), medicating with Chardonnay, and I lacked the energy to exercise, self-care, and dare I say, even laugh. It took me several years to heal my own body and soul, and then I made it my mission in life to help other women experiencing that existence.
If you are a woman who yo-yo diets but can’t find and maintain a healthy weight, who lives in a perpetual state of being on-the-go, if you’re looking at your diet as the solution (but know deep down it’s actually life that’s the culprit), I am your guide.
Your health is a byproduct of your life. If you’re ready to look deeply at root causes and do the hard work necessary to make sustainable change in order to reap the benefit of health & your desired body composition, then I’d like to have a conversation with you.
I’m also the Director of The SHED (Simple. Healthy. Effective. Detox.), a detox and weight loss program that systematically walks you through cleansing toxins from your body, identifying foods that cause inflammation, and understanding your current relationship with food. Following the 30-day, medical-grade cleanse, SHED participants move into a 90-day maintenance program to firmly ground into the SHED as a way of life. I teach you how to design a lifestyle that is unique to you and gets you results that carry you through life.
No quick fixes here. This is the last “program” you’ll ever have to do to finally create abundant health and energy while maintaining your weight loss.
“Rachel is amazing! The work with her is beyond nutrition – it is thinking about your lifestyle and learning self-care. The steps that we have taken to improve my nutrition have been easier than I imagined and incremental so that I could take them on. Her connections to resources to support your journey are equally life-changing and overall, she is just a lovely human. One of the best investments in myself I have made in a long time.”
How many times have you heard something like this from your doctor:
“Your labs are in range and look fine. There’s nothing wrong with you.”
Or “You have (fill in the blank). You’ll need to be on medication for the rest of your life.”
Or maybe you’ve been to doctor after doctor only to walk away with no answers and even more confusion.
If this sounds all too familiar, I want to work with you. I help women figure out the root cause of their dis-ease and guide them through a health protocol to restore their physical and emotional power.
My passion for holistic nutrition began after I experienced my own health challenges. In 2005 I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
My family and I were blessed with a tremendous amount of support during my journey with cancer. Helping others who are currently battling cancer is a priority for me. I share my story with groups in an effort to raise awareness and encourage both life-saving stem cell and blood product donations. I also enjoy volunteering with both Love, Hope, Strength, a non-profit dedicated to expanding and diversifying the bone marrow register, and the Dear Jack Foundation which supports the physical and emotional needs of adolescent and young adult cancer patients and survivors.
After completing both conventional treatment and a stem cell transplant, nutrition played a significant role in my journey back to health. My firsthand knowledge of nutrition enables me to facilitate healing and overall wellness.
If you’ve been recently diagnosed with a chronic illness, have a deep intuition that something is off in your body and want answers, or are proactively looking for ways to improve your health and longevity, I would be honored to help you
Do you relate to any of the following?
- “I’m too tired and in too much pain to go to work, take care of my family, or do the things I normally enjoy doing.”
- “I just got diagnosed with IBD and I have no idea what to do about it.”
- “I feel like no one understands what I’m going through and I have a hard time talking about it.”
Do any of these sound like you?
- You are newly diagnosed and feel lost.
- You are sick of pretending to be fine in front of family and friends when you’re actually suffering.
- You are looking for support from someone who can relate to your symptoms and feelings.
- You are SO ready to stop fighting and gain control of your life.
- You feel, well…GROSS! And you want to feel beautiful again.
Having been diagnosed with Crohn’s disease when I was 13, I know that your pain is real. I know what it’s like to be depressed and feel constantly tired, even when you’ve had enough sleep. I also relate to your frustration with the conventional medical system. It took me more than 10 years of suffering from my autoimmune condition before I understood what a huge impact my stress levels had on my flare-ups.
The power of coaching and its ability to transform lives is something in which I believe deeply. My mission is to give the power back to you so that you can heal and live the life of your dreams.
I invite you to gain a deeper understanding of your body, decrease pain, enhance your relationship with food, learn how to advocate for yourself, and finally feel like yourself again. My clients receive weekly tools and resources to start feeling better right away, while simultaneously building a foundation for lifelong change.
You are not alone in this. Whether you’re newly diagnosed, having a flare, or are in remission, having a coach by your side can help you navigate your IBD journey.
If you’re ready to gain control and live a life that is better than it was before, let’s be partners in your wellness journey.
**Leslie is currently not taking new clients as she’s preparing to have a baby and go on maternity leave. She can’t wait to work with you next year!**
“Radhika is the best! I came to her with many health concerns and very little confidence that I could change things in my life. I was at my breaking point and knew I needed professional help to turn my life around to be around for my family. She met with me to discuss all my concerns/needs and we started working together. She told me that something “magical” happens when people do this work, and she was 100% right! She helped me find resources to change my diet and my attitude. She was always patient with me when I asked the same question more than once and was ALWAYS available via text or email. Even when I feel like stopping the work or have had a few bad days, she is there to pick me up and remind me of why I am doing the work. She is a nutritionist, a life coach, a counselor and an amazing vault of information to help on this journey. I can’t say enough good things about her and the work we have done together.”
